"For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf And the strength of the Wolf is the Pack" Agility (AGL) A representation of a person's grace in motion and general nimbleness of body. Actions requiring balance, maneuverability, or quick reactions are based on this attribute. Agility directly affects a character's defensive strength (DS). Baseline Growth Value: 20 Aura (AUR) Along with discipline this stat is used in both Mental Training Points and Physical Training Points calculations. This also determines the number of Spirit Points you get. Elemental magic is also strongly tied to Aura. Baseline Growth Value: 15 Constitution (CON) This will determine, among other things, your Starting Heath Point Level and your max. Health Points total. It also gives you a bonus for warding against disease and poison. It also affects a number of other things including encumbrance and some maneuver checks. Constitution does not affect a character's stun and Hit Point recovery rate. Baseline Growth Value: 20 Dexterity (DEX) Determines your ability with bows, your maneuver bonus with brawling type attacks and your resistance to certain magic attacks. Helps you dodge certain types of non-aimed attacks such as webs, acid attacks, boil earth, etc It also helps in actions requiring precision and deft manipulation, such as picking locks, picking pockets, skinning, and aiming ranged or targeted attacks. (Unless you use bows, don't worry about a super high number here.) Baseline Growth Value: 30 Discipline (DIS) With Aura, this stat counts in both your Physical Training Points and Mental Training Points calculations. Discipline is used in determining the total amount of experience that a character can gain before needing to rest, and attempts to resist mental or emotion-based attacks. (Definitely put a high roll here.) Baseline Growth Value: 20 Influence (INF) Adds to Mental Training points. May affect starting mana and CS later so it should be on the higher side. Magic or abilities that affect the target's mind or emotions are typically more powerful for casters with a high Influence attribute. Baseline Growth Value: 10 Intuition (INT) Included in intuition would be what is commonly referred to as a "sixth sense", prescience, perception, and luck. Baseline Growth Value: 25 Logic (LOG) Affects how much experience a character can gain before needing to rest, how quickly a character can absorb that experience, and the ability to activate magical items and scrolls. Baseline Growth Value: 15 Strength (STR) This will determine how high your Attack Strength is. The higher it is, the harder you hit. Also helps determine how much you can carry. The Strength Bonus is added directly to a character's AS. Baseline Growth Value: 25 Wisdom (WIS) As a ranger, this will determine how many Mana Points you get. Wisdom also represents a person's conscious connection with spirituality. Spiritual magic is strongly tied to Wisdom. (I recommend putting a low to medium 80 in this stat.) Baseline Growth Value: 25
